Muzaffarnagar: Throwing his weight behind the demand for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , yoga guru Ramdev said that the case has been “dragging in court for over 200 years and people are losing patience”.Speaking to media on the sidelines of a private function in Muzaffarnagar , Ramdev said, “It has been 200 years since the case is in the court. People are now losing patience and cannot wait more. The only one way left is that a law should be brought by Parliament to build Ram Mandir.” He did not elaborate on the details of the case or the court where the case was being heard for two centuries.Claiming that all saints and religious organizations are making pressure on Parliament to build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the yoga guru said, “Hope from the court is fading. There is just one option left.”Speaking with reporters in Varanasi a couple of days ago, Ramdev had said, “Samjhaute ka daur nikal chuka hai, ek hi vikalp bacha hai... Sansad mein kanoon lao aur mandir jaldi se jaldi banao (the time of negotiation has passed, now the only option left is to make a law in Parliament and construct the temple at the earliest).”He had also said that over 25 years have passed since the movement for Ram temple was launched, while hundreds of years have passed for this case. “Ab nahi to kab nirnay hoga. Isliye sansad hi ab antim ash hai (if not now, when the decision will come. Hence, now Parliament is the only hope in this regard),” said Ramdev adding that the Chief Justice has already said that Parliament is free to act on it as per power given by the Constitution.
