Man shot dead in Noorpur

Bijnor: A 65-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the early hours of Wednesday. A case has been registered against the assailants, based on the complaint of the deceased’s son.The deceased, Genda Singh, was asleep in a cot outside his house when the incident took place. The incident occurred at Shaadpur Gulaal village under Noorpur police station area. His family members rushed out of the house when they heard shots being fired, only to find the deceased’s lifeless, blood-stained body on the cot.After receiving the information, police rushed to the scene and sent the body of the deceased to the district hospital for post mortem.
