18 out of 75 UP districts yet to upload midday meal data on government portal

While 57 districts have made 100% data entries regarding the distribution of midday meals, 18 districts still have to submit their data in the matter.“This is to bring to your notice that as many as 18 districts out of the total 75 UP districts have still not made all midday meal data entries on the central government portal for 2017-18 academic session.
MEERUT: As many as 18 UP districts of the total 75 are yet to upload midday meal data on the central government’s portal for the 2017-18 academic session though eight months have passed since the order to the effect was issued.
A list of the districts who have not made the data entry as of yet has been identified,” read the order issued by Mumtaz Ahmed, officiating director, Midday Meal Authority.The districts which are yet to make the data entry on the portal include Agra, Amethi, Ballia, Barabanki, Bareilly, Badaun, Bulandshahar, Jaunpur, Kaushambi, Lalitpur, Lucknow, Mainpuri, Mau, Meerut, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareilly, Siddharth Nagar and Sitapur.“All the basic shiksha adhikaris are instructed to see that all the data entries on the portal are made at the earliest,” read Ahmed’s order.The order further stated that delay in data entry on the central government’s portal amounts to flouting of norms and no negligence should be done in this regard.
