Meerut: A person was caught for impersonating a Class X student in the UP board exam being held at Government Girls Inter College centre here.Arun Singh, a resident of Lodhipur was arrested and booked under relevant sections for appearing on behalf of a Class X student. The matter came to the forefront during checking conducted by examiners.“Arun Singh – a resident of Lodhipur has been arrested for impersonating a Class X student for the English exam that was conducted on Thursday. Singh has been arrested and booked under relevant sections,” said Shiv Dutt, station house officer, Parikshitgarh.Today's incident come days after two men were arrested for impersonating two students in the Class X Hindi examination. The impersonator Arun Singh, was caught on Thursday, writing the exam for Vikrant Chaudhary, a student of Jai Kishan Inter College (Puthi) in Meerut.As many as 18,369 students were supposed to appear for the Class X English exam on Thursday, out of which1050 students remained absent.
