Meerut: The video clip starts with a character from the film ‘Gully Boy’ with a Narendra Modi head rapping, “Ye sansad, ye Dilli, ilaka hai mera, go back to your Italy. Kuch hai kya is Pappu ko bolne ka (This Parliament and Delhi are my areas. You go back to your Italy. Does this ‘pappu’ – Rahul Gandhi – have something to say).” It ends with a mike drop move by Ranveer Singh’s character with a Rahul Gandhi head, who raps, “Salaam thok, sir jhuka, tu dum daba, chal rasta naap le. Vote liye khud ke dum pe, nahi churaye EVM daab ke (Salute me, bow your head, and return your way. I took votes with my capability and not by rigging EVMs).”The three minute and 13 seconds long video showing a rap battle between Rahul Gandhi and Modi has gone viral on social media. It also features Priyanka Gandhi as Alia Bhatt and Akhilesh Yadav as Siddharth Chaturvedi – who played the role of MC Sher in the movie and helps Ranveer Singh to realise his rapper dreams. The video plays with 'Apna Time Ayega' song from the movie 'Gully Boy' in the backdrop.Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj and Priyanka Gandhi can also be seen in the video where Priyanka is seen enacting Alia Bhatt’s dialogues from Gully Boy movie. “Priyanka, tumhe politics aati hai?” (Priyanka, do you know politics?), says the Sushma Swaraj character in the video, to which Priyanka Gandhi replies, “Nahi, lekin agar sab kuch sahi raha toh main chunaav jeetkar aapki aur aapki party ki saari pol khol sakti hu (No, but if all goes well then I can open the secrets of you and your party by winning elections).”Faizan Siddiqui, who made the video, said, “I do not have any inclination towards any politician. I have made videos starring Akhilesh Yadav, Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath. But now, Rahul Gandhi was left – so now I thought why not to make a video on him. I have scripted the video and even given voiceover. My main purpose was to bring out my creativity in context of any current topic.” Siddiqui is a graduate in multimedia and runs an ad-making company in Lucknow.The video had over 4 lakh views on YouTube by Tuesday evening. Siddiqui had in the past made videos in which Akhilesh Yadav starred as Shahrukh Khan from Bollywood movie Raees, Narendra Modi as Bahubali and others.
