Saharanpur: Amid reports that SP-BSP-RLD alliance will hold its first poll rally in Deoband, BJP MLA from the seat, Brijesh Singh, on Sunday slammed the ‘mahagathbandhan’ saying that while the saffron party started its campaign from a temple in Saharanpur the alliance will kick-start its campaign from “land of terror”.“One knows well that they are planning to start poll campaign from ‘land of terror’ Deoband. These are those who breed terrorism in the country, who know the definition of terrorism and those who ask proof of the terrorists killed in a reply to the Pulwama attack,” the Deoband MLA said. Since Yogi ji is not a common man and is a monk, he said that he will begin his campaign from Saharanpur, from the holy Maa Shakumbhari Devi temple here.“It is clear from the decision of the two parties that who is set to begin the campaign from Deoband. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath began their party’s poll campaign after getting blessings of Maa Shakumbhari ,” said Singh.He was speaking at Adityanath’s rally, which was also the first rally of BJP to start its poll campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.Adityanath first offered prayers at Maa Shakumbhari Devi temple and then addressed people at the venue here.Singh further said, “You all must have read the newspaper a few days ago that the mahagathbandhan is set to start its poll campaign from the land of Deoband.
