Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had expressed “shock and grief” over the killing and had directed the police to “crack the case within 24 hours.”
Police in UP’s Baghpat on Wednesday was arrested two person suspected to be behind the murder of formal District President of BJP and claimed that the attack was carried out due to personal enmity.
Sanjay Khokhar, BJP District President of Baghpat from 2016 to 2018 and currently a member of the District Planning committee was shot Dead on Tuesday morning.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had expressed “shock and grief” over the killing and had directed the police to “crack the case within 24 hours.”
IG of Meerut range Praveen Tripathi, said, “we have arrested two person and it has come to light that personal enmity is the reason behind the murder. We have almost reached the point of cracking the case and we will do it soon.”
Meanwhile, the district police has come under attack by the BJP leadership for its an “inaction”. Baghpat MLA Satypal Singh said that the local police’s “inaction” has lead to murder.
