Two people in UP’s Meerut allegedly died after consuming poisonous liquor. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Jani Police Station.

Pawan and his neighbor Jagpal Kashyap of the Dalit community who used to work as labourers from in Jani police station area, on Tuesday bought illegal liquor from a seller of in the village only.
They drank the liquor on Tuesday night, by Wednesday morning their condition worsened.
According to news reports, , Pawan is survived by five childrens including wife Guddi and three girls and two boys. At the same time, Jagpal is survived by his wife and three boys and a girl.
According to family members, on Wednesday, Pawan and Jagpal`s condition worsened, so they kept thinking till evening that alcohol intoxication might dominate them. But late Wednesday night, when the condition of both of them worsened, the family members hurriedly admitted them to different hospitals.
Both of them were admitted in different hospitals by their family members. Both of them died during treatment late Wednesday night.
As top officials got information about the deaths of there was panic among the police and administrative officials. In a hurry, CO Sardhana Aarti Sahi and Inspector Jani Rishipal Singh reached the spot with the force. Police informed the relatives and villagers about the incident and sent the two bodies for postmortem.
The District Excise Officer has ruled out the possibility of death as poisonous liquor.
