BIJNOR: Two policemen, including a sub inspector, were injured when a wall collapsed at the VIP entry of Vardhaman Degree College , the venue of Narendra Modi 's rally in Bijnor on Friday. The injured were rushed to the district hospital.The injured policemen have been identified as sub inspector Rajeev Kumar and head constable Gopal Singh.Giving details, station house officer, Bijnor, Shailendra Singh, said, "Two policemen who were injured when a wall suddenly collapsed at Vardhman College were admitted to the district hospital for treatment. They sustained injuries in their legs. Both are stable and out of danger."The incident occurred when a large number of youngsters tried to enter the rally venue from the VIP entry. As a result, the wall collapsed. The policemen who were standing on duty in the premises were injured.The policemen were later seen clearing the collapsed rubble from the spot.Meanwhile, the issue of broken chairs at Modi'a rally became a talking point on social media. In fact, trolls compared the broken chairs with the stolen 'khats' at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi 's rallies.On Friday, though no violence was reported from the spot, the crowd became uncontrollable and as people tried to fit in the space of the venue, they broke chairs at the spot to make space for themselves, said police.While one @lankkesshh posted on Twitter after seeing the picture of broken chairs, "BJP ki 300 seats yahi toh hain" (These are BJP 's 300 seats) (sic.), another @FeerozHaider tweeted, "Khaat se bhi zada bura haal kar diya" (The condition is even worse than khaats).Apologizing for shortage of space to accommodate everyone, PM Modi said in his speech, "I seek forgiveness from all of you because the venue has fallen short for the number of people who turned up."
