Two groups of kanwariyas clash, one injured

Meerut: Two groups of kanwariyas clashed with each other over offering of Ganga water first in a Baghpat temple here. Gradually the clash turned into a full-scale battle and resulted in firing, leaving one injured. The incident happened on late Friday evening at Hilwari village of Baraut tehsil of Baghpat district.Reetu Pal, 24, was injured in firing.According to circle officer (CO) Ramanand Kushwaha, “We are looking out for the culprits.”
