Three die in a head-on collision

By the time they were taken to hospital all succumbed to injuries.According to Anand Mishra, station incharge Ramraj police station, “All three bodies have been sent for post-mortem and FIR has been registered against the truck driver who is absconding.” Muzaffarnagar: In a tragic accident, three persons including two women died in a head-on collision on Meerut-Pauri Road near Bijnor Ganga Barrage.According to reports, all three residents of Mirzapur village of Bijnor were returning home in their car when near the barrage, in an attempt to overtake a truck, the car was hit directly by another truck coming from the opposite direction.The three occupants – Suresh Singh, 55, his wife Rukhmesh, 50 and their niece Disha Kumari, 19 were grievously injured.
