Meerut: With the dates of festive celebrations of Dussehra and Durga Puja, and the mourning period of Muharram clashing this year, Meerut SSP held a meeting of police officials to beef up security in the city on Wednesday. It is a mournful period for Shia Muslims as they engage in hurting themselves to mourn the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
