RTI activist arrested in ex-corporator's murder case

Another accused Vishal Gaikwad, was arrested by the police for sheltering the accused after the murder was committed.
On Friday, the Samta Nagar police arrested the fifth accused, Anil Waghmare, a Right To Information activist for allegedly planning and killing former Shivsena corporator Ashok Sawant.
Waghmare also runs a civil services coaching classes, and wanted Sawant to give him space in his family run school to run it.
“The duo have been arrested and our team is on the lookout of the another accused Jagdish Pawar.
“Sawant not only asked the businessmen in the locality to not give money to Waghmare, but also denied space inside his school.
