Jaws drop at Mumbai's heat and humidity

Heat conditions in the state’s eastern region of Vidharba got even more severe with Chandrapur recording 45.4 degrees on Wednesday. The heat and the ineluctable humidity left citizens, especially commuters, sweating and dehydrated. Colaba, on the other hand, saw a rise on Wednesday with the highest temperature for the day settling at 35.2 degrees Celsius. The rising mercury left Mumbaikars dizzy for the second consecutive day on Wednesday with maximum temperature in Santacruz recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius, which is the same as that recorded on Tuesday.
