S Ramkumar, Superintendent of Police, Dhule, said that they had relaxed the police deployment at Reinpada. "People of this village are back to their normal business now. He said that some of the accused are staying in the forest area that is spread over the Gujarat and Maharashtra border. "We got information that the accused are returning late in the night and going back to the forests in the wee hours. We are keeping a tab on their movement. We will arrest them soon," added Ramkumar. RP Shinde, Acting Head Master of a Reinpada school told DNA that out of 400 students, 280 have rejoined school. "We hope to have full attendance by next week. The students are quite afraid of the police. We are counselling them and providing all kinds of support," said Shinde. "The social fabric of this village has been torn down; peace in our village has been disturbed. Our sympathy is with the deceased and their families. However, those who have nothing to do with this incident should not be harassed," said local NCP leader Narendra Torawane. "We hope that people will learn a lesson from this, and not believe in fake news in the future.
