Man creates ruckus at Nair hospital, nabbed by Agripada police

According to the Agripada police, Dhanas broke the glass doors of the Nair hospital premises and while doing so a hospital staff was injured between the forehead and nose. On Sunday evening, the Agripada police registered a case of criminal intimidation against a 35-year-old man who allegedly assaulted an on-duty hospital staff on Sunday evening. As per police records, Dhanas had admitted his pregnant wife at the maternity ward as she was nearing her due date. On Sunday evening, after the delivery, Dhanas and his relatives were asked to leave since the visiting hours of the ward was over. During the commotion Raut was injured by small pieces of glass after which she lodged a police complaint."

On Sunday evening, the Agripada police registered a case of criminal intimidation against a 35-year-old man who allegedly assaulted an on-duty hospital staff on Sunday evening. The accused has been identified as Mohammed Muzammil Maqbool Dhanas. According to the Agripada police, Dhanas broke the glass doors of the Nair hospital premises and while doing so a hospital staff was injured between the forehead and nose. As per police records, Dhanas had admitted his pregnant wife at the maternity ward as she was nearing her due date. On Sunday evening, after the delivery, Dhanas and his relatives were asked to leave since the visiting hours of the ward was over. "Dhanas was asked to vacate the premises so that the doctors could conduct their evening check-up as per routine and the other officials could clean up the ward. Dhanas was reluctant to leave the ward. On being insisted by the warden and complainant identified as Meena Raut (34), Dhanas lost his calm and got indulged in a heated argument with Raut and other wardens. Later, Dhanas abused the staff and behaved in an objectionable manner following which he deliberately began to break the property of the hospital by punching everything he came across. He later approached the glass doors of the ward and broke them. During the commotion Raut was injured by small pieces of glass after which she lodged a police complaint." said a police officer of the Agripada police station. "Dhanas was arrested on Sunday night under section 353, 506 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act," the officer added.
