Indrani Mukerjea complains of restlessness, rushed to JJ Hospital

Indrani Mukerjea, who is accused of allegedly murdering her daughter Sheena Bora was rushed to state-run JJ Hospital on Monday evening after she complained of health issues. "At 7.20 pm Indrani Mukerjea came in complaining of headache and double vision since evening and restlessness. Clinical evaluation and investigations are on," said a doctor from JJ Hospital. In June this year too, Indrani, who is currently lodged in Byculla women's prison was admitted at JJ Hospital after she had complained of chest pain and discomfort. Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai were arrested for the crime in 2015.

Clinical evaluation and investigations are on," said a doctor from JJ Hospital. In June this year too, Indrani, who is currently lodged in Byculla women's prison was admitted at JJ Hospital after she had complained of chest pain and discomfort. Stating about her medical condition then, the doctors had said that Indrani has been facing age-related spondylosis problem on the left side of her body. Mukerjea is prime accused in the death of 24-year-old Sheena Bora, who was abducted and killed on April 24, 2012 allegedly over a financial dispute. Her body was disposed of in a forest in the adjoining Raigad district, according to the police. Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai were arrested for the crime in 2015. Rai later turned an approver (prosecution witness) in the case.
