Chartered Accountant on run held BY MIDC police for duping man after eight months

After a chase of more than eight months, the MIDC police have arrested a 67 year-old Chartered Accountant (CA) who is alleged to have duped a 72 year-old man of Rs 1 crore in total.
We arrested Shah last week and have registered a case under section 420,406,465,488,471, 75 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code” said a police officer from MIDC police station.
“After Kapoor was arrested he applied for Anticipatory bail in the High Court but it was rejected so he is currently serving is jail sentence.
The accused identified as Kiran Shah was nabbed last week and he was sent to police custody by the Bandra metropolitan magistrate court when produced on Wednesday.
As per the police reports, Nagpal’s financial affairs were being looked by his two accountants Sanjeev Malhotra and B K Gupta since a long time and in January 2015 the duo had introduced Nagpal to Shah.
