The Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra is a Naxalism-affected area with the heavy presence of guerrilla fighters in the hills and dense forests. According to the report, two Maoists has been gunned by the security forces. Of the total gunned down ultra-left insurgents, at least were carrying a combined bounty of Rs 82 lakh.
