Meera Sanyal, AAP leader and former chairperson of RBS India, dies

She had earlier contested as an independent candidate in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from the Mumbai South constituency. "We are deeply saddened by this loss, Meera Sanyal a good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Meera Sanyal, who also served as CEO and chairperson of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) India, has passed away at the age of 57, according to AAP leaders. She passed away at 8 pm at her south Mumbai residence and the funeral is a private affair. We are deeply saddened by this loss, @meerasanyal a good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven.
