BMC to revive clean-up marshal project with new rules

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is ready to revive the clean-up marshal project with a new and more disciplined plan for the same.
According to the new rules, the BMC can fine the concerned institution with up to Rs 30,000 if their clean-up marshal is found guilty.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAThe eligibility criteria for clean-up marshals is that they should have cleared the tenth or twelfth grade.
If the clean-up marshal is found guilty, the BMC can slap a fine of Rs 10,000 on concerned institute in the first instance.
