At the end of January 31, 2019 there are in all 8.73 crore voters in the state, up from the 8.49 crore during the 2014 state elections.Shinde also said that to ensure that there is no bogus voting in the upcoming general elections, the Maharashtra state chief electoral office said that they will ensure almost 100% photo rolls, which means the voters list in every election booth will have a photo against the voters name.
