All the major political players in the state are faced with party rebellions in many Lok Sabha constituencies. Especially, following the Sena- BJP alliance many claimants from the party had to withdraw which has left them upset. In the Jalgaon Lok Sabha seat, the BJP has nominated Smita Wagh against NCP candidate Gulabrao Deokar, while the BJP sitting Member of Parliament AT Patil has decided to revolt against the official candidate of BJP. BJP MLC Smita Wagh is the spouse of the BJP Jalgaon district president. Moreover, Shiv Sena ex-MLA RO Patil, who was asked by the Sena president to prepare for Lok Sabha polls when the party was planning to go solo, has also expressed his displeasure over the Sena-BJP alliance. In Nashik, BJP leader Manikrao Kokate has announced his independent candidature against Sena sitting MP Hemant Godse. The NCP has fielded Chhagan Bhujbal's nephew Sameer Bhujbal for the same seat. Earlier, the BJP had promised a Lok sabha ticket for Kokate in the Nashik Lok Sabha seat if there is no alliance in Maharashtra. In the Osmanabad Lok Sabha constituency, Shiv Sena denied ticket to its sitting MP Ravindra Lokhande and in his place, pitted Omraje Nimbalkar against NCP nominee Jagjitsingh Rana Patil. Lokhande has revolted against the party and decided to contest as an independent candidate. Similarly in Nashik's Dindori, BJP approached NCP leader Bharati Pawar and fielded her in the place of sitting MP Harishchandra Chavan. Two time sitting MP Chavan was denied a ticket because of poor performance. Chavan expressed his displeasure and said he will contest the poll against the BJP candidate in Dindori constituency. In the Sangli Lok Sabha constituency, Congress leader Pratik Patil left the party over its decision of leaving the Sangli seat to Congress alliance partner Raju Shetti-led Swabhimani Shetkari Sangathan. His brother Vishal patil has been declared an independent candidate against Raju Shetti and BJP nominee Sanjay Kaka Patil. Pratik Patil is the son of former Congress chief minister Vasant Dada Patil. Raju Shetti warned the Congress to resolve the crisis or else he will not contest the Lok Sabha poll from this seat. "Now, the Sena and BJP has sorted out their differences and decided to fight as an alliance so many aspirants are not getting tickets. Therefore, we are seeing more revolt in Sena and BJP than in Congress and the NCP. This may disturb the Sena-BJP calculations in Maharashtra," reiterated a political observer. SPARKS KINDLED
