NCP nominee Supriya Sule is locked in a tough contest against BJP who is leaving no stone unturned for her defeat. In an interview to DNA, Sule said she is confident of her victory with a huge margin despite BJP's game plan. BJP says Pawars are no longer invincible in Baramati and are determined to win. What is your take? Party chief Sharad Pawar and former deputy CM Ajit Dada have strived to make Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency a model constituency and is ranked among the best constituencies in the country. We are always available for the people. Baramati Lok Sabha constituency is not only a constituency for us but its our family. People trust us and no matter what anyone says the people of the constituency knows the work that we have done. BJP claims it has put up a serious candidate in Baramati and has pulled out all resources for your defeat. Are you worried? In a democracy every political party has the right to field their candidates for elections and thus in a similar way BJP has fielded a candidate against me. I firmly believe that people of this constituency would ensure that I win with a huge margin. Your father has to pay more attention for your victory. Is the fight is tough? Pawar Saheb is the president of NCP. Thus he travels in constituencies where NCP has fielded it's candidate and also holds rallies in seats of alliance partners. I am lucky to be contesting from Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. We have to defeat the government which has failed on every front. Their failed policies have led to an agrarian crisis. What is your ground-level assessment? As you know the people of this constituency respect Sharad Pawar and believe in Ajit Dada's word. The people of this constituency are aware of the work done by us and thus I believe that they would vote for me. I have full faith in voters. How this election is different? What issues are you raising during campaign? Every election is different and the issues on which the elections are fought are also different. This election is fought on the social media platform. But there is an under current that people want a change and want to vote out the incumbent government. The people believe that the BJP has failed to meet the promises they made. This election is about the fake promises made by BJP. What are your poll promises? Baramati constituency should be 'anemia free', and the number one constituency in the country. Further my focus is on education, health and communication which should be of world class. My goal is to have a child from my constituency that is not far away from school, malnutrition and anemia. I will make every effort to make Baramati tanker free. I will pay adequate attention to promote small and medium industries for creation of more jobs. I am aware unemployment in educated youths is serious issue and it will be my effort to effectively address it in my constituency.
