Mumbai: Fireman sustains grave injuries in Powai's Haiko mall fire breakout

A fireman sustained severe injuries in a blaze that broke out at a shopping mall at Powai on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday at around 10.23 am, a small fire broke out at Powai's Haiko Mall. Reportedly, the fireman, identified as Devendra Koradkar was trying to make space for ventilation when he lost his balance and fell down from the first floor. 28-years-old Devendra Koradkar old joined MFB two years ago and is stationed at Vikhroli fire station. An FIR has been lodged against the owner of the stall and manager of the mall, said a fire officer.
