Two people of Fatka gang have been arrested by Wadala Railway police on Friday. Police said the main accused who hit with a wooden stick and the stole phone is a new member of the gang. The accused are identified as Rahul Chauhan (18), a resident of Ghatkopar and Mustak Mulla (20), a resident of Antop hill. Police further revealed that Mustak had a criminal background. According to the police officials, on Wednesday the complainant Chaitali Paresh Soni (24), was returning home by 8.17 pm local train from Wadala station to King Circle station in a second class compartment. While Soni was occupied with her phone, an unknown person hit her hand with a wooden stick and her phone fell down near the track. "Wadala police registered the FIR and have detained another gang member. Chauhan confessed to the crime. Both the other accused are remanded police custody," said senior inspector Rajendra Pal, "The main accused in the case Rahul Chauhan just turned 18 years on July 10. He is a new in Fatka gang and was trained by Mulla. He was taught how to hit the commuter and snatch the phone," said inspector Pal added. PAST CASES
