Chaudhary had bought LED TV sold through dealer, Vijay Sales in 2014. A sum of Rs 53,990 was paid by Chaudhary. However, he soon complained that after sale service was not provided to him. He stated that it was duty of the manufacturer company and the dealer to install the TV and ensure that it satisfied the quality of performance. He, however complained of poor picture quality and other issues. The service engineer did not cooperate. The forum hence asked the company to refund the amount paid. Upholding forum's order, SCRDC asked to pay additional Rs 2000.
