Regardless of what comes out of the triple layer probe into Sushant Singh Rajput`s mysterious death, the alleged drug addiction among some Bollywood actors has brought to the fore that, they are not the ones that our young generation should idolise.

One notion that should be dispelled forthwith is the craze among youngsters to iconoise the film actors. Regardless of what comes out of the triple layer probe into Sushant Singh Rajput`s mysterious death, the alleged drug addiction among some Bollywood actors has brought to the fore that, they are not the ones that our young generation should idolise.

Iconoclasm Why

Why should they be made icons, this is a poser. In what way are they the role models for doing whatever they do in a make - believe format. It`s the story conceived by someone, made into a script by someone else, dialogues come from someone else and the directors do the rest besides the shot divisions and so on.
Camera men and down to light men, a chain of facilitators help an actor before the camera and deliver his or her lines. And that too the directors say what emotion to be brought. ` In what way are we qualified to become heroes or heroines I wonder` that were the lines from Big B in an interview about a decade back.

Need For Nationwide Campaign

It`s not the case of taking any hard drug, but the very intent they have, ie  to hide behind a smoke screen made out of paganism and ideals, which can never be interweaved with.

Be it all politically driven or accidental unearthing of the drug chain, it was Rhea Chakroborty who had stired the hornet`s nest by saying that it were certain drugs those virtually killed Sushant. However, there is no reason why the NCB should be allowed to walk away with any credit when the rot has been thriving well in Bollywood and Mumbai.

It only joined the dots and whatever has come out is detestable. The actors cannot or should be given such a long rope to drag the fans to fall into a drum where there is a heady mix of vices and go on a popular shopaholic drive.

Adds Must Stop

It is time all the adds done by the Bollywood actors is brought to a halt so that there must be a breather that they must go for a self introspection and wriggle out of the illusion that they are in a world apart.

Now it is for the government to incorporate such strictures and prevail upon the advertiser to hold themselves back for some time.

They get paid enough and an intermission shouldn`t be viewed as an assault on their pretensions who seek respite in tubercular hallucinations through drugs.

For little reasons this cluster which lives in a world of a febrile imagination, now must be forced to refine their false prides.
