The first such facility had come up at Jagruti Nagar Metro station in February 2020. The facility at Versova Metro station was launched by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) commissioner RA Rajeev today.

Mumbai Metro one official said, “These bicycle services will be extended to other metro stations in the coming weeks.”
The bicycles will be available on rent at Versova metro station at a reasonable price of just Rs.2 per hour. Metro commuters will be able to hire these GPS-enabled bicycles using MyByk App. The App will self-guide commuters for unlocking the bicycles to avail the service.
