Maharashtra is locked down till June 1 due to the Corona crisis. However, nothing will be opened soon, Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray has clarified.

Considering the corona crisis, Maharashtra has a lockdown update till June 1 . Traders are now anxious to know whether the lockdown will be relaxed or extended from June 1. However, not everything will be opened immediately, said Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray. Lockdown you have to open slowly. The decision will be based on Corona`s condition. We vaccinate as the vaccine is supplied. Don`t be anxious, don`t crowd, appealed Aditya Thackeray.

People`s lives are important. The numbers suddenly increased after the last time the lockdown was removed. Even if the numbers are low now, not everything will start immediately, said Aditya Thackeray.

Although the numbers in Mumbai seem to be stagnant, we are looking at how to reduce them completely. There are still 1300 to 1400 cases, so we are looking to reduce those cases completely, said Aditya Thackeray.

We are trying to do a lot of vaccinations. There is coordination between the Central and State Governments. Every state demands that we be vaccinated as much as possible, so do we, but vaccinations are given as soon as they become available. Maharashtra has given the highest number of vaccines so far. Some villages are fully vaccinated. There are two such villages in Sambhajinagar area.
