Maharashtra 12 Board students to be marked by using Internal Assessment

Based on the assessment, policies other entrance exams like CET (common entrance test) will be conducted. 

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the class 12 board exam in many states and the Centre have cancelled. The Maharashtra Government has now stated that their marking will be done by the internal assessment marks. Criteria for internal assessment will be issued by the state board soon.

As the cases of Covid-19 were rising the government and task force made an opinion that if exams are conducted, it can be super spreader for coronavirus. The government clearly said that if any of the students is found positive, the virus will be carried to the examination hall, which will cause infection to other students. Therefore, the exams were cancelled.

The state board now has the most difficult task of how to work on criteria for internal assessment. Based on the assessment, policies other entrance exams like CET (common entrance test) will be conducted.
