This time Congress Contesting Solo in Maharashtra

Nana Ptole State Congress Chief is expected as the CM face for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly polls. 

Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly Polls, Congress State Chief Nana Patole indicated that Congress will be contesting solo this time. He said that if high command decides him to represent the Party as Chief Minister, He welcomes the decision. 

The NCP on Sunday said that all Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) partners are united in running the coalition government in Maharashtra, but no decision has been taken so far on alliance for the 2024 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday said that the post of chief minister will remain with the Shiv Sena for the full five-year term, and it is "non-negotiable".
