Fuel Price Hike Disturbs Citizens, Check Your City

The citizens have no peace in the fuel price hike. 

The decrease in the covid positive cases is definitely giving a sigh of relief but the high rise in fuel prices have bounded the hands of the people. The country is facing a historic high in fuel prices as the Petrol and Diesel have hiked again by 25 to 28 paise today.

It is Costing a total of 103.63 per litre of Petrol in  Mumbai. Diesel also increased by 28 paise to retail at Rs 95.72 per litre in the financial capital, up from Rs 95.44 per litre.

Delhi is heading petrol costing Rs 97.50 and diesel at Rs 88.23. Chennai also saw an increase in fuel prices with petrol and diesel rises by 25 paise each.  The price of petrol was Rs 98.65 per litre and that of diesel was Rs 92.83 per litre in Chennai.

Bengal`s Kolkata is also not stepping back as the Petrol there is costing Rs 97.38 per litre. 

Fuel prices differ from state to state depending on the incidence of local taxes such as VAT and freight charges. And because of this, petrol retails at over Rs 100 per litre mark in eight states and union territories -- Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
