Wedding Halls in Palghar Sealed, Fined 50 Thousand: Maharashtra

The wedding Hall in Maharashtra`s Palghr was sealed and fined for violating covid19 norms. 

Already aware of the Covid lockdown norms, and that too Maharashtra where the positive rate is the highest, a marriage hall was sealed in the mid of the wedding. The Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation imposed fine of Rs 50,000 on the marriage hall as it allegedly vialoted the Covid norms in Pandemic on Tuesday.  

The hall was attended by more than hundred people and so the action had to be taken.

As per the Maharashtra government`s five-level plan to ease coronavirus-induced restrictions based on positivity rate and oxygen bed occupancy numbers, VVMC areas have been placed in level 3, under which only 50 people are allowed for marriage functions, the official informed.
