Attended by the city glitterati, religious heads and other dignitaries, the iftaar party was hosted at Diggi Palace. Indulging in special iftaar delicacies with dry fruits, kebabs and kheer amid animated conversation, the guests enjoyed the party hosted for a selective few. It`s such a wonderful city, always buzzing with something or the other.

Jaipur is known for fairs, festivals and celebrations. In the auspicious month of Ramadan, iftaar parties are organised at regular intervals. One such do was hosted by David Lelliott, British deputy high commissioner, Chandigarh.

Attended by the city glitterati, religious heads and other dignitaries, the iftaar party was hosted at Diggi Palace. Indulging in special iftaar delicacies with dry fruits, kebabs and kheer amid animated conversation, the guests enjoyed the party hosted for a selective few. Said Lelliott, "I happened to visit Jaipur last year during the month of Ramadan, and realised that we should organize something.

It`s such a wonderful city, always buzzing with something or the other. The city always wears an air of festivity." Spotted at the do were politician Durru Mian, culturist Sundeep Bhutoria, artist Shabbir Hasan Quazi and Jyotika Diggi, among others.
