Parvez is among five youths from UP and Bihar, who had informed Das over phone in 2012, about she having won Rs 25 lakh in an online lottery contest. The matter, however, was reported by Das to Indore police towards the end of 2013, after which a criminal case was lodged in early 2014. "We tracked one of the five bank accounts to be held by irrigation department peon Parvez in Varanasi, after which he was arrested from the temple city.
More arrests of his aides based in Siwan, Deoria and Patna districts of UP and Bihar are likely in the coming days," additional SP (Indore Crime) Dilip Soni said. .
