One arrested with Rs 11 lakh in fake Rs 2,000 notes

Investigators are questioning him about his local contact and the person to whom he was to hand over the fake notes. THANE: A Mumbra resident , Dashrath Bholi, was arrested with counterfeit currency with a face value of Rs 10.74 lakh from Kalwa junction around 1.15 am on Saturday.Police said that Bholi had sourced the fake Rs-2,000 notes from Uttar Pradesh. They are also checking if he operated alone or had any aides.The accused has been booked for counterfeiting of the currency under Indian Penal Code. He was taken to a holiday court on Sunday.
