Mysuru teenager killed in road accident, another battling for life

Both the girls lost their consciousness after they suffered serious head injuries. The girls are said to be residents of Krishnamurthypuram Public and hospital employees who rushed to the spot were seen trying to revive them at the spot but in vain.One was declared dead on the spot while another was breathing has been shifted to hospital where she has been put under observation. MYSURU: A teenaged scooter rider died on spot and the pillion rider is seriously injured and hospitalized after a truck knocked their two-wheeler down from behind near ‘Y’ junction on Mysuru-Bengaluru road Narasimharaja traffic police said Shena (19) who was riding the scooter died on spot while her friend Prakruthi (23) is seriously injured and hospitalized.The duo were moving towards Columbia Asia hospital from JSS hospital road while the truck that came from another road hit them from behind leading to the accident.
