Mysuru Zoo hopes to turn Thippayyanakere into another tourist attraction
- | Friday | 6th July, 2018
Officials of the Mysuru Zoo are hoping to emulate the feat with Thippayyanakere. In a bid to preserve the natural beauty of the waterbody, zoo authorities have decided not to use cement. These parks will be classified in accordance with their vegetation – ‘Grasslands’, ‘forest’ and ‘wetlands’.In April, Mysuru Urban Development Authority (Muda) handed over the maintenance of three parks in the vicinity of Thippayyanakere to Mysuru Zoo. The roads within the lake premises too have been laid using gravel stones. Mysuru: The ‘Heritage City’ is not short of tourist attractions, but, there is always another building, or a natural spot, the potential of which remains unexplored.
