He was surprised as huge amount of food grains have gone missing from the government-run warehouse. There has been a large-scale looting of food grains including some 96 qunitals of wheat from the local godown. This happened despite the local deputy director of the department being in-charge of safeguarding the food grains. They were meant to be supplied to ration card holders under public distribution system. Accordingly, I have issued a suspension order for the deputy director of Mysuru.”- Zameer Ahmad Khan, food and civil supplies minister
