HASSAN: PWD minister H D Revanna justified biscuit flinging at flood victims in Ramanathapura of the district saying food parcels are thrown from the helicopters also.Speaking at an event in Belur of the district on Sunday he stated that at the time of flood furry, food parcels are thrown from the helicopters. It is not wrong. When I reached the Ramanathapura flood relief center, kids cried seeking biscuit packs. So I threw it. Whether it is a big mistake? he questioned."I had reached home late at night. Still, I left home early in the morning with the biscuit packs. People will decide who is right and who is wrong," he said.He also alleged that officials of the nationalised banks are playing a game in connection to loan waiver scheme. "We will release money directly to the farmers. Let banks collect loan amount from them," he said.He also stated that Kodagu DC PI Sreevidya is a best DC. "She reaches home at 3am and returns office at 5pm. Even men officers can't do such a work," he said.
