Switching careers helped this Mysuru lad nurture young football talent

“I am trying to nurture footballers in Mysuru, and turn the city into a destination for soccer. Raju said that his passion in football went back to his childhood. Raju was the only coach from Mysuru to achieve the distinction. Attributing his zeal for the game to watching English Premier League (EPL) matches on television, Raju said, “I passed the All India Football Federation ‘D’ licence examination in August last year. But the passion for football pulled Raju back to the football grounds, where he will play the role of a professional football coach He was one of the eight candidates from India who cleared the recent Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘C’ licence coaching exam.
