According to the proposal, 164 first grade colleges will be permitted to continue with existing courses and combinations in the new academic year too.The proposal to set up three endowments including those proposed by Usharani and BP Maheshchandra Guru was also approved in the meeting.It was also decided to incorporate a few more pointers in the proposed new rules for the specialised programes and research institutes affiliated to the university.
