MCC Chief Shilpa Nag resigns, alleges Harassment

  • | Saturday | 5th June, 2021

Shilpa Nag has sent her resignation to the chief secretary citing harassment by Mysuru Deputy Commissioner.

Shilpa Nag, the Chief of Mysore Corporation Commissioner, has resigned from her post alleging suffocating work conditions. Whereas on the other hand the office states that they have not received any resignation letter.

Shilpa alleged "humiliation" from Rohini Sindhuri. "It`s been suffocating to work with the DC in Mysuru. I`m resigning today and sending a letter to Chief Secretary. It`s humiliating too, I`ve no patience left in me," Shilpa said.

It is untrue that there was any harassment from me and none has been mentioned even in the statement issued by Smt Shilpa Nag.

Shilpa Nag, IAS, was made in charge of CSR coming from Private Industries, Factories, IT Companies for the whole district. It was later informed to me that almost the whole of it she spent within Mysuru City. So I had asked for full and proper account of it on 1st June 2021. No reply has been received until now. Further her action to give almost nothing to Taluks & rural areas is unfair and wrong. The accounts of spending of the CSR by Smt Shilpa Nag, IAS, are still awaited.
