Edu min to teachers: Don't go to media with your problems

Mysuru: Primary and secondary education minister Tanveer Sait on Thursday warned teachers and lecturers of action about approaching the media to voice their problems. The meeting comes after PU lecturers boycotted evaluation of answerscripts of the II PU exams. Meanwhile, the government is also taking up a survey of schools after 12 years. He issued a gag order and said that violations will be taken seriously.Pre-University lecturers led by ACICM convener M Lakshman met minister Sait at the Government Guest House to discuss the issues they're facing. Based on the survey findings, more schools will be opened depending on population.
