Two days after University of Mysore registrar (administration) R Rajanna accused the varsity's acting vice-chancellor Dayanand Mane of pointlessly visiting the PG ladies hostel on the campus of Manasa Gangothri, Dalit Research Scholars Association has demanded that action be taken against Rajanna for tarnishing the VC's reputation with baseless allegations.The association claimed that Mane is being targeted for stopping the salary of temporary employees appointed by the previous vice-chancellor.Meanwhile, a bunch of students of PG ladies hostel, in a release, have claimed that the acting VC visited the hostel following a petition from them seeking facilities.
