Mysuru: The Glass House will soon be the new tourist attraction in the city.Authorities hope to attract more tourists by developing Mysuru's first Glass House where they want to organize flower shows through the year.Kuppanna Park or Nishat Bagh , which is close to the Mysuru Palace, will house the Glass House being developed on the lines of the 128-year-old Glass House in Lalbagh, Bengaluru. Bengaluru-based Nikitha Build-Tech Pvt Ltd is assisting the PWD in designing the structure.Unlike Glass Houses in Bengaluru and Hubballi, the Glass House here will be round. The Glass House will give them an opportunity to have flower shows all through the year. It is located close to popular tourist spots - Mysuru Zoo and Mysuru Palace — and is spread over 10 acres. It's expected to be ready by December-end.The authorities chose Nishat Bagh because it's located in the heart of the city and is spacious with adequate parking space.
