DPI, schools run awareness campaigns

Mysuru: With Mysuru featuring in the cities of the country where the term Blue Whale has been searched on the internet, Department of Public Instruction (DPI) officials and city schools have started an awareness drive to ensure that children don't fall prey to this deadly game.According to the Google trends data for Saturday evening, in the past seven days, Mysuru ranked 26th among Indian cities where the term Blue Whale was searched.D Udayakumar, Block Education Officer (BEO), Mysuru North, told STOI that he has shared the department's action plan on creating awareness among students with all schools.
