Metro’s JCB machine knocks man dead in Jaripatka

Nagpur: A JCB machine deployed at Metro work knocked a middle aged man dead in Jaripatka area here on Wednesday night. Midway near Shiv Driving School, Indora Square, Kamptee Road, the Metro’s JCB machine (MH-49/AS 7591), being driven rashly, hit Jaipal’s moped. The driver of JCB machine has not been identified. Jaripatka PSI S R Mishra, based on Jimmy Chawal’s complaint, booked the JCB driver under Sections 279, 334, 304(A) of the IPC read with Section 187 of Motor Vehicles Act and searching for him. According to a complaint lodged by Jimmy Jaipal Chawal (34), his father Jaipal was returning home on his Activa moped (MH-31/CF 1842) around 10.30 pm on Wednesday.
