‘Kaafila 2.0’ inspires budding poets, storytellers

The pain and power of unrequited love seemed to be the topmost choice of muse among the poets Sagarika Bhelkar and Nandini Trivedi as they poured out their feelings of heartbreak.Simran Dhameja narrated her story of clearing CA entrance exam after repeated failures and how she embraced them to soar higher. Nagpur: The Friday evening saw a bunch of young artists and poets of the city coming under one umbrella with Writedesk’s ‘Kaafila 2.0’ to showcase their talent and to motivate the other budding artistes at a city café at Shankar Nagar.The variety of artistes showcased their poetry, caricature and stories in front of local as well as international audience.First speaker of the evening was Ajankar Vaidya, a poet, who talked about the confusing stage in the life of a youth who is unable to separate the ‘wrongs’ from the ‘rights’. On similar notes, Kunal Mandhaniya- a teacher by profession- shared his story in form of a human library about what he learnt from his failures now stands as a successful career as an academician.“After repetitive attempts to clear my university exams, I self-intervened and felt that I let my parents down.
